Andalucia

Nights 1–3 — Málaga

Your journey starts in the historic center of Málaga, the pulsing heart of Spain’s sunshine coast. Mountains right out the backdoor. Mediterranean beaches. Roman ruins and Islamic fortresses. A thriving art scene and lively tapas bars. Picasso’s birthplace. Málaga is where modern Spain beats in sync with its ancient past.

Nights 4–7 — Gaucín

Perched on a ridge between rivers and nature reserves, Gaucín is one of Spain’s best whitewashed villages. It’s a crossroads for epic rides. You’ll stay at Molino del Carmen, an historic olive mill converted into a private villa, with views of Gibraltar and Africa. Stroll the winding streets and feel the charm!

From the Mediterranean coast to the dramatic town of Ronda, come spin your legs on Spain’s amazing roads. Our unique routes wind among river valleys, national parks, limestone peaks, and lush forests. We will stop for coffee and lunch in charming villages, and hit the beach for seaside snacks.

Rest Day

Tourism

Mid week we rest our legs and soak up Spanish culture. We’ll pass through Sierra de Grazalema nature park en route to the clifftop village Arcos de la Frontera. From there we’ll tour Spain’s Sherry Triangle, taste different styles, and learn the unique aging process. Finally, we’ll visit Cádiz and explore its deep maritime past. Phoenician traders arrived over 3,000 years ago and the city has been lived in ever since! The day finishes with flamenco dinner in old town Cádiz.
