  • VIBE Tours strikes a balance between covering a lot of ground and not having to pack up every night. October 2025 trips with Sepp Kuss take place in two great spots in southern Spain — the village of Monda in the foothills of the Sierra de las Nieves national park, and the famous pueblo blanco (white village) of Ronda, on the edge of the Sierra de Grazalema nature reserve.

  • Reservations for October 2025 trips with Sepp Kuss require a 50 percent down payment with the balance due 75 days prior to departure. See our terms and policies for full details on payment, cancellation, refunds, and future trip credits.

  • Once you make a deposit or purchase a tour, you are part of the family! We will send confirmation of your registration, and then follow up in the coming weeks to complete your rider profile and coordinate logistics. The information you provide will help us make your trip great. If you have any questions during the process, don’t hesitate to get in touch. We look forward to meeting you in Spain!

  • Our trips have around 15 riders—small enough to be exclusive and intimate but lively enough to be a party at times.

  • We welcome non-riding spouses and partners! Spots are limited and subject to availability. Please inquire for more details.

  • VIBE Tours requires you to have travel medical insurance. Three options are: Travelex; TravelGuard; and World Nomads. We also recommend you insure your bike if you bring it.

  • No, airfare must be purchased separately. Málaga–Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) is the closest. We will arrange ground transportation from the airport to our first hotel at scheduled times. See the trip itinerary to plan the details of your journey. Arrive before 14:00 to meet our transport shuttle. After that time, we can help arrange transport for you, but you may incur additional costs.

  • We recommend bringing your own bike so you’re comfortable for a week of solid riding. If you need to rent, our Málaga bike-shop partner will facilitate. The cost is not included in the trip.

  • We will stay in two amazing 4-star hotels! The boutique hotel Castillo de Monda perched on a hilltop in Monda, and the historic Reina Victoria hotel and spa on the edge of the cliff in Ronda. See the trip page for images and videos.

  • October 2025 trips with Sepp Kuss have 5 rides with one rest day in the middle for cultural excursions and transferring to our second location. Total planned distance is 290 miles and 29,000 feet of climbing. Andalucía is hilly, but most of the gradients are not too steep. There’s one Category 1 climb on our journey, but you’ll be rewarded with an 8-mile descent on the other side.

Many riders in southern Spain use a 34-tooth chainring paired with a 34-tooth cog on the rear cassette. We expect people to tackle climbs at their own pace, and we will position our guides accordingly for support. Our routes are designed to stop roughly every 60–120 minutes to regroup, recoup, hydrate, caffeinate, eat, and enjoy.

  • Our support vehicle rolls with us every mile of every ride. You can keep extra clothing, drinks, and food in the van. The mechanic is on hand for minor repairs, adjustments, and flat fixes. We encourage you to ride all the miles (and you’re going to want to when you see how beautiful it is) but if you need to jump in the car for some reason, that’s what it’s there for.

  • Our mechanic in the support vehicle is able to handle minor, quick repairs to keep us all moving. More complex problems may require overnight repair and a ride in the SAG. You can also rent a bike to avoid missing any miles.

  • There are no partial refunds for skipping parts of the tour.

  • Yes! You will receive a full VIBE Tours 2025 edition kit with jersey and bib shorts.

  • Our experience in Spain is that signage is good and drivers are more respectful than in the United States. With all the roundabouts you’ll hardly see a traffic signal or stop sign the whole week we’re there!

We mostly ride in low-density natural areas and farm country with minimal traffic. When we have to use more major roads, we have designed those sections to be brief. You should load the daily route in your bike computer to keep you on track at all times.

VIBE Tours takes safety extremely seriously. While we can’t control all factors that may arise during real-world riding, we have vetted our routes with on-the-ground reconnaissance.

Our guides will monitor conditions and we will conduct a ride briefing every morning to reinforce safe cycling practices and go over the route with an eye to any potential hazards like sharp bends, tricky intersections, or places to reduce speed.

VIBE Tours has a cycling risk management plan and trained staff. Minor scrapes or aches may be solved by spending some time in the support vehicle, but for anything more major we will seek local medical or emergency services.
